History
Timeline
1860 – 1865 Joins Union Army in the US Civil War as a scout
1865 – 1875 Aids in tracking down and killing Booth after Lincoln’s assassination. Follow’s Lincoln’s funeral process back to Chicago before returning to the family farm in southern Illinois. Finds family dead at hands of Copperheads due to his involvement in the Booth chase. Spends the next 10 years tracking down and exacting natural justice on those responsible leaving grizzly murder scenes and leaving written on the wall behind an ‘Eye for an Eye’. Takes an eye and a tooth from each of them to lay to rest at his family’s graves.
1875 Jebediah finds and kills the last of those he believes to be responsible for the murder of his family. Travels back to their graves and contemplates ending his life. He is disturbed by a heavily cowled man he assumes is the undertaker. The man explains his damnation and offers him a choice which Jebediah gladly takes.
1885 Jebediah is anointed as an Inquisitor and begins hunting heresy within the US Lancea Sanctum.
1921 Returns to his family graves for the last time to say goodbye before he leaves the country. Meets a young boy near the graves and imparts to him the importance of family and service to God.
1924 - 1949 Travels Europe conducting inquisitions and heavily involved in factional infighting.
1928 Aids Gabriela in the Inquisition of her Childe Francois DuPaix in Calais
1933 - 1937 Assists Victoria with the a matter of some heretical Crone in Madrid and enlists the aid of Gideon. Travels on and off with Victoria for a while meets Dmytro later known as Verdigris during this time.
1945 Carlo embraces another childe, Jebediah unsure about how he feels about this seeks solace in a Monastry in Croatia. It is during his stay there that he again meets Sebastian, the boy from beside his family graves who is now a man. Jebediah decides that meeting Sebastian (later Arch Bishop of Illinois) is part of divine providence and God's reminder to him of the importance of family. Jebediah sets out to start looking after his new 'family.'
1950 – 1951 Returns to the US and learns that his broodmate’s childer are breaking the Masquerade, Jebediah poses as Raguel to put the fear of God into them and bring them back to the righteous path. He succeeds with Evelyn Chapel and spends the next 4 years schooling her to be Sanctified. Mercedes Franki flees to Australia.
1955 - 1957 Travels to Australia to make sure Mercedes is not breaching the Masquerade. Meets Jakob, a mortal monk is impressed by his charity and good nature. Also sees value in his calligraphy skills and asks him to transcribe some documents. Finds the monastry Jakob works from comforting and a good place to stay. Volunteers to be a night watchman for the Monastry.
1957 Notices Jakob is missing one night, goes to find him and discovers him dying from a gunshot wound, deeply in schock and close to death. Jebediah offers him the choice to continue God's work in damnation. Jebediah embraces Jakob and calls him Lincoln, he never discloses his reasons for doing so.
1957 – 1964 Travels Australia with Lincoln (Jakob) teaching him the philosopy and views of the Lancea Sanctum and his duties to God in his damnation. It seems to take Lincoln a while to understand what he has become. Is finally happy that he has adequately instructed and releases him to make his own way.
1964 - 1971 Jebediah continues his travels in Australia and ends up in Armidale investigating local mystical phenomina.
1971 – 1988 Torpor
1991 Assists in the Inquisition of Augustus Rinolvo.
1993 – 1999 Travels to Newcastle where he dwells and carries out his divine duties until noticing a crooked cop by the name of Daniel Ravena. Lures Daniel to Chicago where Daniel is embraced by Evelyn Chapel.
2009 (June) Inspires Evelyn Chapel and Daniel Ravena to travel to Armidale and set up a LS Mission and establish a strong Sanctified presence there in what is obviously a mystical site after the mysterious disappearance of Australian Kindred. Boards the Teylya to travel to Australia.
