What is Khamûl?
Khamûl is the stuff of nightmares, that which lurks without, that which you do not invite in lest he take a liking and oust your from your place.
Rumour speaks that many years past he was once a man, but then he disappeared with not a trace to be found. What happened during this time is unknown, but when I finally returned he was not that which he had been before, he was less but at the same time more. Upon his return he read many books with which to acquaint himself with a world unknown, but it was the words of Tolkien that struck a chord within. Tales of hobbits, tales of men, tales of treasures lost and hearts betrayed. He had found his guide.
The descriptions and tales of the Nazgûl drew him the most, he sensed a kindred self within those pages, as if Tolkien himself had seen those of a similar like.
Some say before that day, Khamûl was already wreathed in dark cloth and shadow. Others disagree and state it was only after his inspiration that he donned his guise. All agree that he is indeed terrifying in nature and that to speak his name is to draw his attention and his ire.
Few look deep within that black pits that make up Khamûl's eyes and look away smiling.

Appearance
- Mask: Pale skin, golden blond hair, rather pleasing to look at. Dark grey eyes.
- Mien: Perfect skin resembling that of white marble. Golden locks. The very appearance of an angel but with one slight difference, where normally you'd expect to find eyes, instead there are just twin pits of eternal darkness leeching away the surrounding light.
- A creature of your darkest desires clad in a suit fashioned from the crushed dreams of thousands of orphans.

History
- The years of Khamûl's youth are but wisps of nothingness, it's as if all traces of him were erased.
- It was his time on the other side of the hedge when he became best known.
- Khamûl's keeper had a rather cruel bent and enjoyed his possessions inflicting anguish on others. Khamûl proved a prodigy, in time growing to mirror his keeper.
- Over the past 50 years Khamûl's been spotted on the mundane side of the hedge, a year here, a year there always disappearing as quietly as he arrived. There are multiple rumours of his appearance preceding that of the Gentry on a Hunt, this could simply be a ruse or it might be so much more.
- For a time Khamûl was attached to The Harriers, assisting in the retrieval of runaways. It was even rumoured that he revelled in his work, the sound of his laughter often heard throughout the hedge whilst on a hunt.
- Nobody knows quite what changed, just that one day he was no longer heard on the hunt, but instead in the back streets of Melbourne, Australia.
- He eventually ran into others who did not run at first sound of his voice and introduced to the local freehold. He'd been known in the area a decade previously before a sudden disappearance in the middle of the night.
- It's still unknown exactly why he came back, only that he did. Few tend to press that issue.
- These days he's been spotted in the occasional horror film under the name of Nathan Cambridge, where the intensity of his wrongness is most fitting.
