Malachai is an ex member of the Invictus having served as a knight in both the Order of the Thorned Wreath and the Order of the Broken Cross and maintains links with both Orders and the Covenant as a whole. He converted to the Lancea Sanctum around 1920 and is often been seen in the company of Bishop Halliday, either appearing a few months before or after her arrival in a new city.
He is know to be part owner in a number of duelling schools in Europe and America and is responsible for the publishing of Il Code Duello Vampiro based on the 1777 Irish Code Duello.
