Lord Watson made his first public appearance in Australia in the court of Canberra in January 2009, accompanied by Vizier Rashid. There he made contact with the other new Invictus arrivals in the city-Lady Allessandra, Lord Tremaine, Lord Marcus, and Mr O'Connell. Lord Watson claimed the title of Primus without contest, and spent the rest fo the evening scoping out the court. First impressions were not good-Craig Achan was blood-hunted for numerous breaches of the Traditions, only to escape the assembled court and disappear into the night, and the Seneschal of the time, Tekla Asshai, didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. Then the war with the CHUDS was declared, to the general interest (and possibly amusement) of most. Nothing of note came from Lord Watson's numerous conversations, although sharp Kindred did note that he seemed a bit slow and twitchy-almost as if he had been awoken very recently.
