Rayne has been making himself known around the Freeholds and Hedge of Australia since the 1960s, representing The Barony of the Lesser Ones. During his travels he found and trained more than one new Baron.

Recently he attended the Spring Ball in Adelaide in 2008. Less than impressed with the showing by members of his Court, he resolved himself to move some major city somewhere and build a name for the Spring Court that didn't involved sex, drugs and rock 'n roll.

In July of 2009 Rayne sent out an invitation to the Changelings around the country to attend his "Hootenanny" (ball) in the Freehold Under the Mountain in Canberra, where there would be Boot-Scootin', Talkin', Drinkin', Joustin', Fightin', Boxin' and Shootin'.

Hob Kin: Not many changelings get treated with respect by Hobs. Rayne does. They greet him in the familiar, with a mixed reaction of shock and awe, but always respect. A respect that he shows them in return. If not for his appearance, you could easily mistake him for one of them given how easily he moves among them.

Fame 3 - Hobs (Goblins): Almost every Hob in Australia has heard of Rayne. He's in many ways simultaneously a Folk Hero and Boogeyman. He's there to save them when they need him, but to bring the pain when they go too far, and they know it.
