Appearance - Tarlach quite liked the 70s, more honesty and less innocence than the 60s, and better drugs and bigger guns, he dresses to reflect this.

Personal Beliefs
Over time, Tarlach’s Catholicism has mutated through his devotion to Mary, mother of God, and he has subsumed Mary into the Crone. He believes that he is on a mission from Mary, the mother of God. Originally, this was to promote war to destroy communists while allowing plenty of feeding; now it is a variation on this involving the Crone and a host of interesting new associates.

During July 2008, Tarlach is still amused by the Cardinal; having so out-maneuvered his crushed opponent that the Cardinal still has not actually understood what happened Tarlach departed the city for greater challenges (OOC: I became the Vampire Storyteller ;-) ).
Canberra behind him Tarlach has vanished into the wilds of Australia; some think he has returned to his nomadic past, others that he has been engaged as a mercenary to support powerful kindred, it has also been heard that he seeks an understanding of Tearlach – the last words from a trusted associate to seek out an senior Invictus who knows much of the destroyed Elder.
During June of 2008 Tarlach finally repaid the debt he owed the Cardinal, bringing him low and reducing his status within the city to Acknowledged. Tarlach simultaneously placed the Cardinal in a position where he had to Recognise Tarlach within the city, raising Taralch only days after reducing him in status. Much amusement could be seen on the faces of those around the Court as Tarlach demonstrated not only great political nous, but also, great wit.
Additionally during June Tarlach raised Tekla Asshai to Respected within the Court of the Prince Emir Raoul. Revealing the secret mission that his fellow Mekhet had been pursuing for the Court.
In April 2008 Tarlach publicly stated the facts behind the destruction of Corsta Micila, Ventrue Crone. That he plotted to provoke war within the Domain of Canberra and was investigated by the Sheriff and Keeper of Elysium, under orders from the Seneschal, and that his execution was ordered by the Prince of Canberra. In revealing the facts he upset many poorly conceived and planned plots.
During April Tarlach has also been learning of Moroven's beliefs within the Circle, in an effort to develop his own understanding of the Crone and welcome this new Kindred to Canberra.
In March 2008 Tarlach gunned down the doorman to a gathering of Kindred after those hosting the gathering refused the Keeper of Elysium entry, threatened him with violence, and therefore insulted the position. The kindred hosting the gathering failed to understand their predicament and Tarlach therefore used the powers vested in the position of Keeper of Elysium to strip both Kindred of their acknowledgment within the city. The Prince at the time, that night found to be a diablerist and executed, reinstated their status.
Tarlach would be known by sight, to many by name, to any whom entered the Grand Elysium of Canberra in late May 2007. He met kindred from across Australia as well as the United States, cordially greeting them and checking them for weapons as they entered. Some would also know that Tarlach would much prefer to have treated the Kindred with open respect by allowing them to enter Elysium armed as they wished and exercise self-restraint and judgment in maintaining Elysium while being fully prepared to defend it.
Tarlach was a Nomad until January 2007 when he joined the Crone and then arrived in Canberra. Any who speak to him for a little while would probably know of his long history of active participation in conflicts and insurgencies across the globe.
Close and ongoing participation in Kindred society and politics is new to Tarlach.
In May of 2007 Tarlach organised and led a successful assault on a Bug infested Covenant Haven with the assistance of both Covenant mates and fellow Kindred from the Ordo Dracul. Planned and coordinated the assault was a success, despite the presence of a host of bugs and an attempted ambush by bug re-enforcements. The success of the assault in no small measure the result of information provided by an Adelaide associate of Tarlach and the combined skills of the Regent Keith Moore, the Hound Robert "Satori" Moore, Byron Stone, the Haruspex Tekla Assai, Florus, the Verdant One and Sheriff Dave.

Haitia Summer of 1971 - Tarlach is assisted by Mr Saturday to survive in the swamps of Haiti and prepare his escape.
1973 to 1982 - Tarlach engaged in his ongoing personal war against the spread of atheism. He associated heavily with Thaddeus Creed of the Lancea Sanctum while:
- providing equipment to Pinochet supporters in Chile,
- facilitating the transfer of weapons to Rhodesian militia forces engaged in the "Bush War” in Rhodesia,
- and expanding his operations into Central America to tap into the lucrative movement of funds from the US to the range of groups collectively known as the Contras fighting Nicaragua's Sandinista Junta of National Reconstruction.

Jacob Tanner - A fellow Mekhet aligned with the Heralds of Shadow from the Carthian Movement, greatly respected as a fellow traveller, scholar and friend by Tarlach.
Bishop Thaddeus Creed - Tarlach closely associated with Thaddeus Creed of the Lancea Sanctum for ten years, the two maintain a connection through the Heralds of Shadow.
Commissioner Harrington-Smythe III - Simon and Tarlach had a close association in the early 1920s, founded on Simon's heavy interest in shipping, research into social upheaval and, Tarlach's developing skills in acquisitions and problem solving.
Samedi - Haiti, Summer, 1971: Hounded by the Tonton Macoutes (Secret Police) of Jean-Claude Duvalier (nicknamed "Baby Doc") Tarlach is on the run. Eventually rescued by Samedi, known to Tarlach as Mr Saturday, the two get on well and Tarlach learns much of the occult, spirits and Loa (as well as how to make a killer Gumbo stew). Years later Tarlach repays the favour - providing the means for Samedi to escape Haiti and travel to a location far away in a great hurry.
Kalika Sun'Dori - Egypt, 1940: While working on contract to recover a tome important to members of the Circle of the Crone Tarlach finds Kalika Sun'Dori, academic and archaeologist, deeply entwined in deciphering a small but significant element of the Circle's history within kindred society. Loathe to destroy such a resourceful individual so close to understanding some elements of the Kindred Covenant Tarlach instead convinces her that she should be embraced. This allows Tarlach to both fulfill his contract and gain a resourceful and intelligent Childer and Mekhet.
